Mullvad server list – locations in 50 countries
No email, one price, nothing else.
Mullvad is a Swedish VPN for people who care about privacy above all else. You don’t give an email address when you sign up, you just get a random account number. You can even pay with cash sent in an envelope.
There’s one price, with no promotions or multi-year plans, and an account covers 5 devices. Servers run in RAM, the apps are open source, and outside firms audit the infrastructure and apps regularly. Mullvad deliberately has no affiliate programme. We include it because the comparison wouldn’t be complete without it.

Privacy track record
Documented incidents and legal tests. How a provider responded matters as much as what happened.
2023. Swedish police came to Mullvad’s Gothenburg office with a search warrant to seize computers holding customer data. They left empty-handed, because Mullvad showed that no such data existed.
